Community Impact Grant

About this program

The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan offers the Community Impact Grant to support innovative projects benefiting residents of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, or Presque Isle County. Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded twice annually, with deadlines on January 15 and July 15, for new initiatives with demonstrated support from additional organizations. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) non-profits, schools, government agencies, and religious organizations serving the public without sectarian bias, with a focus on projects beyond routine operating needs. Funds are disbursed within two weeks of approval upon submission of a signed grant agreement, and final reporting is required.
