About this program

The Community Foundation of Richmond offers Community Impact Grants to support initiatives that enhance economic opportunity, particularly for low-wealth residents, with a focus on racial equity for Black and Brown communities. Funding prioritizes education, housing, and workforce development programs that increase access for low-income residents in Richmond. Eligible applicants are local nonprofits whose strategies align with the Foundation’s focus areas: community vibrancy, economic prosperity, educational success, and health and wellness. There are no specified deadlines or funding amounts, and cost-sharing is not required.
