Community Outreach Grant

About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers Community Outreach Grants of $250–$5,000 for one-year, evidence-based sport, exercise, or performance psychology initiatives conducted in partnership with local community organizations. Projects should provide sustained services, build organizational capacity, address community needs, and advance practice beyond private, academic, or research settings; funding does not support research-focused activities, indirect costs, salaries, stipends, or presentation travel. Applicants must have maintained continuous AASP membership for at least three years, although students may apply with an eligible professional co-author; preference is given to CMPCs and individuals pursuing CMPC certification. Proposals must be implemented or mentored by a current AASP member, include community-organization support, and be submitted through Cadmium by April 1.
