CoMove – Dual-Career Researcher Support

About this program

The Boehringer Ingelheim Stiftung’s CoMove program supports outstanding dual-career researchers relocating to Germany or Austria with a partner who has accepted or is negotiating a professorship or group-leader position. Applicants may receive up to €1.5 million for up to five years to establish an original research program in the biological, medical, or chemical life sciences, including support for personnel, equipment, materials, travel, and publications. Eligible applicants must demonstrate substantial international experience and excellence, hold or have recently accepted an R3-level position at a host institution, and secure the institution’s commitment to facilities, administrative support, and a long-term career pathway. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the applicant’s partner must hold an R3- or R4-level position in the same region.
