COMPASS Outreach Grants

About this program

The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB), through its Committee for Postdocs and Students (COMPASS), offers grants of up to $1,000 for public science outreach activities, such as student lab visits, science fairs, and community engagement projects. Eligible applicants must be current ASCB members, with priority given to student and postdoctoral members, and proposed events must be completed by the end of 2026. Applications require an event description, organizers’ CVs, an itemized and justified budget, documentation and acknowledgment plans, and a commitment to submit a post-event blog; applications are due August 14.
