Conference Grants

About this program

The Aristotelian Society offers conference grants of up to £500 (average £300) to support conferences held in the United Kingdom, with applications reviewed twice yearly in September and April. Applicants must be conference organizers in the UK and should submit the Society's standard application form by email, with priority given to one-off events and graduate conferences over established or invitation-only events. Grantees must acknowledge the Society's support in publicity, submit an itemized conference report within three months of the event, remit any profits proportionally to the Society, and ensure payments are made only to official conference or departmental accounts. Retrospective applications are not considered; events must occur after the meeting deadline for which the application is submitted.
