Conquer Cancer Career Development Award (General Competition 2026)

About this program

The Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) offers a two-year, $200,000 Career Development Award to help early-career faculty establish independent oncology research programs across all areas of cancer research. Funding supports personnel, research, and other allowable expenses, with an additional travel allowance of up to $1,500 for the required awards ceremony. Applicants must be physicians within their first four years of an academic faculty appointment and within 10 years of receiving their medical degree, with ASCO membership, an institutional mentor, an active medical license, and a commitment to an independent clinical oncology research career. The deadline for the 2026 general competition is March 26, 2026, and applicants must devote at least 60% of their research time to the project; U.S. and international candidates are eligible.
