Constant H. Jacquet Research Awards

About this program

The Religious Research Association offers the annual Constant H. Jacquet Research Award to support social scientific research on religion, with preference for applied, client-centered projects relevant to religious organizations, leaders, or practitioners. Funding supports research expenses, generally up to $4,000, but excludes supplemental salary, capital equipment, and indirect institutional costs. Applicants must be RRA members; full-time students may join when applying, while other applicants must have held membership for at least one year, and students and early-career scholars are especially encouraged to apply. Applications are due April 30, with awards available July 1 and research expected to be completed within one year.
