Convention Childcare Grant Program

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) offers the Convention Childcare Grant Program to provide up to $250 in funding for childcare expenses during its annual convention. This grant aims to support members with dependent children, covering costs such as babysitters and caregiver travel expenses. Eligibility is limited to regular or student ASEEES members who are listed in the convention program and registered for the event, with priority given to graduate students, early career scholars, and contingent faculty. Only one parent per child or children may apply, and reimbursement is processed post-convention upon submission of a detailed expense form.
