Course Development Grant

About this program

The Society for the Preservation of American Modernists (SPAM) periodically offers Course Development Grants to college-level educators developing new or substantially revised courses on American modernist artists or the history of public and private arts support in the United States; grants are currently suspended. Applicants may come from any discipline and must submit a résumé, budget, proposed syllabus, and information on the course’s schedule, location, and curricular contribution. Funding must be used and the course initiated within nine months of the award, with applications traditionally due annually by March 15.
