CPWR Small Study Program

About this program

CPWR’s Small Study Program provides seed funding of up to $30,000 for promising research and practical initiatives that advance construction safety, health, and worker well-being. Supported through CPWR’s agreement with NIOSH and a charitable contribution from the McElhattan Foundation, the program accepts applications on a rolling basis. Proposals should prioritize high-risk groups, actionable interventions, stakeholder partnerships, emerging issues or technologies, and translation of evidence into practice, particularly for small employers and residential or light commercial construction. Investigators from diverse disciplines, including occupational safety and health, engineering, psychology, economics, and applied computer science, are eligible to apply.
