Crystal Cornea Award

About this program

The Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) presents the Crystal Cornea Award to individuals or organizations outside healthcare and eye banking whose actions elevate public awareness of corneal donation and transplantation. Eligible nominees may include public figures, lawmakers, media organizations, writers, artists, and others who advance corneal donation and the EBAA’s mission through meaningful collaboration with a member eye bank or the broader community. Nominations must be submitted by the executive or medical director of an EBAA-member eye bank for a professional associated with the bank; salaried eye bank staff and paid outside consultants are ineligible. Nominations are due December 8, and recipients are expected to attend the EBAA Annual Meeting.
