Cultural Sustainability: Equity-Based Operating Grants

Arts Midwest offers Cultural Sustainability: Equity-Based Operating Grants, a pilot program providing up to $67,000 in general operating support to small arts and cultural organizations rooted in communities of color. Eligible applicants include nonprofit and fiscally sponsored organizations, as well as federally recognized tribes, with annual operating expenses of no more than $500,000. Organizations must be located and operate in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, or Native Nations in the region; applications were due October 15, 2024, for grants awarded in January 2025.
