The Dane G. Hansen Foundation, in partnership with the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation, offers the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant for Ellsworth County to support charitable projects in Northwest Kansas. This grant focuses on initiatives in education, health care, economic development, community services, conservation, arts, and beautification, with a preference for projects aligned with county goals and utilizing the Strategic Doing process. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, governmental entities, and religious institutions, excluding individuals, businesses, and nonprofits under different IRS tax codes. Grants are awarded annually, with $25,000 available in April and September, and applications must be submitted by September 30, 2025.
