Del Demaree Floriculture Advancement Fund

About this program

The Del Demaree Floriculture Advancement Fund, administered by the American Floral Endowment, awards annual grants (individual requests up to $12,000) to support special projects addressing critical or timely challenges in the U.S. floriculture industry, with priority for initiatives that deliver industry-wide impact such as marketing, sustainability, and time-sensitive research. Eligible applicants are U.S.-based organizations with projects that benefit the floriculture sector broadly (national scope preferred); the fund does not support conferences, general operating costs, or recurring annual programs and event sponsorships should be pursued via AFE’s Educational Grant Application. Applications are reviewed annually after the June 1 deadline with notifications in September and funds typically distributed within 2–3 weeks of award; recipients must submit a report or article summarizing goals, outcomes, use of funds and future plans and must credit the Del Demaree Fund and the American Floral Endowment.
