Distinguished AASP Service Award

About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), funded through the AASP Foundation Endowment, offers the Distinguished AASP Service Award to recognize sustained and distinguished service to the Association and its membership. The recipient receives a plaque, a $1,000 cash award, waived registration for the AASP Annual Conference, and a three-year term as an award committee reviewer. Nominees must be AASP members with at least 15 years of professional membership, including three consecutive years at the time of nomination, and at least 15 years since receiving their highest degree; they must also demonstrate meaningful service and adherence to the AASP Ethics Code. Applications require a nomination letter, current CV, and two letters of support, and are due April 15 annually; self-nominations are permitted.
