Distinguished Contributions to Science Award

About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), through its Foundation Endowment, offers the Distinguished Contributions to Science Award to recognize sustained, distinguished empirical and/or theoretical contributions to sport and performance psychology. The recipient receives a plaque, $1,000, waived conference registration, and an invitation to deliver a scholarly address at the following AASP Annual Conference.

Nominees must have been AASP members for at least 10 years, including three consecutive years at the time of nomination, and have been awarded their highest degree at least 10 years earlier. Applications require an AASP member nomination or sponsor, a nomination letter, curriculum vitae, two support letters, and up to three significant publications; nominations are due April 15 annually.
