About this program
The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers the Distinguished Scientist-Practitioner Award to recognize a member who demonstrates sustained, innovative, and impactful integration of sport and performance psychology research and applied practice. The recipient receives a $1,000 cash award, complimentary AASP Annual Conference registration, and a plaque. Nominees must have maintained AASP membership for three consecutive years and demonstrate significant scientific contributions, applied practice, and science-practice integration. Candidates must be nominated and sponsored by an AASP member and submit a signed nomination letter, two support letters, and a 6–10-page abbreviated CV by April 15 annually.
