Diverse Intelligences Research Hub — Two-year Grants

About this program

The Templeton World Charity Foundation (TWCF) is soliciting applications to establish self-sustaining Diverse Intelligence Hubs housed within academic institutions to advance research on multiple conceptions of intelligence and to grow a cross-disciplinary community of practice. TWCF will fund two to three two-year grants of up to US$800,000 each, with successful hubs eligible to apply for follow-on funding of at least US$1,000,000; follow-on awards require at least 50% co-funding from non‑Templeton sources. Applicants must be academic institutions able to host a hub and demonstrate concrete plans for financial and in‑kind sustainability, capacity to support further DI research and network-building (including early‑career engagement), and the ability to secure required co‑funding for any follow‑on support.
