Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Mentorship Award (ASMS)

The American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), funded by VRS Recruitment, presents the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Mentorship Award to recognize members who have demonstrated exemplary mentoring or recruitment of individuals from groups underrepresented in mass spectrometry and STEM; up to two awards of $1,000 and a plaque are presented at the ASMS Annual Conference. Eligible nominees must have been ASMS members for at least two years and have attended the ASMS Annual Conference at least two of the past five years; applicants from any career sector or stage are encouraged. Nominations require a one-page mentoring philosophy and impact statement (PDF), a list of mentored individuals with degree and year (PDF), a CV (PDF), and two support letters (at least one from a mentee), submitted via the ASMS online awards platform.
