Diversity Research Grant for Early Career Psychologists

About this program

The Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy (APA Division 29) offers one annual $1,000 Diversity Research Grant to support early career psychologists conducting psychotherapy research or applied projects that promote diversity. Funds may support research supplies, training, or travel to present results, and recipients must share their work in a scholarly or professional forum. Applicants must be Society members and within 10 years of graduation; proposals should demonstrate scientific quality, feasibility, diversity relevance, and potential contribution to psychotherapy. Applications must include a cover letter, detailed budget, 5–10-page proposal, recommendation letter, CV, and application form, and are due electronically by March 1.
