Division 47 Dissertation and Thesis Awards

About this program

Division 47 (Society for Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology) offers annual Dissertation and Thesis Awards recognizing outstanding student research with strong potential to advance theoretical and applied knowledge in exercise and sport psychology; submissions are reviewed by the Division’s Cornerstone Committee. Awardees receive commemorative items, registration to the Division convention, a $200 honorarium, and one year of Division 47 membership dues paid. Eligibility is limited to student authors of qualifying dissertations or theses who meet Division 47’s submission guidelines and the March 15 deadline; applicants should consult the Division for specific formatting, degree-date, and institutional requirements.
