Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Scholarship

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers the Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Scholarship to recognize and support an outstanding doctoral dissertation proposal in information science, providing up to US$1,000 for research expenses, a certificate, and up to US$500 toward attendance at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting. Recipients may also present their research at the meeting. Applicants must be active doctoral students with an institutionally accepted dissertation proposal, current ASIS&T members in good standing, and must submit a proposal of no more than 10 pages, timeline, budget and justification, advisor endorsement, information on other support, and a CV by April 1. Prior award recipients and current ASIS&T Awards & Honors Committee or Board members are ineligible.
