The National Football League (NFL) Foundation presents the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award to honor high school football coaches who embody the integrity, achievement, and leadership exemplified by NFL coaching legend Don Shula. This award recognizes two winners, one from each conference (AFC/NFC), who will be celebrated at the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl LVIII. Eligibility requires nomination by NFL Club Personnel as a 2024 High School Coach of the Week winner, a demonstrated commitment to player health and safety, and alignment with Coach Shula's exemplary characteristics. Only current head coaches in good standing are eligible, and applications must be submitted by December 2, 2024, through the NFL Foundation's G.A.M.S system.
