About this program
The Western Thoracic Surgical Association (WTSA) offers the Donald B. Doty Educational Award to support innovative educational initiatives in cardiothoracic surgery developed by WTSA members and promote their dissemination to training centers and academic institutions. The selected applicant receives a $10,000 education grant, with activities to be completed by June 20, 2026, along with written and oral reports at the 2026 WTSA Annual Meeting. Active, Senior, and Candidate WTSA members in good standing are eligible; Candidate members must submit a sponsor letter from an Active or Senior member.
