Dorothy V. Harris Memorial Award

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers the Dorothy V. Harris Memorial Award to recognize an early-career professional making distinguished contributions to sport and performance psychology. The recipient receives $1,000, complimentary registration for the AASP Annual Conference, and a plaque presented during a session highlighting their work. Nominees must have earned a doctoral degree within seven calendar years of nomination, demonstrated significant AASP involvement, and established a leading record of scholarship or practice with theoretical and applied impact. Applications, due April 15 annually, must include a nomination letter, CV, 1–2-page work summary connecting the nominee’s contributions to Dr. Harris’s legacy, five peer-reviewed publication reprints, and two recommendation letters.
