The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) presents the Dr. Barry T. Katzen Master Clinician Award to honor an interventional radiologist who demonstrates exceptional clinical practice, patient-centered care, continual professional improvement, and a demonstrable positive impact on their institution or practice. The award includes complimentary registration and recognition at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting and commemorates Dr. Katzen’s advocacy for IR as a clinical discipline. Eligible nominees are SIR members whose records show exemplary patient care, extraordinary dedication and work ethic, ongoing adoption of improved practices or techniques, and tangible contributions that enhance patient outcomes or institutional reputation. Open nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. ET on November 15.
