The American Occupational Therapy Foundation offers the $10,000 Dr. Carolyn Baum Cognitive Function in Daily Life Mentor Award to support mentorship, research training, and collaborative project development in functional cognition and daily participation. The award period is March 1, 2027–February 28, 2028, with applications due November 7, 2026. Eligible mentors are mid- to senior-level occupational therapy researchers who are Associate or Full Professors and have completed a research doctorate at least seven years ago. Mentors must support an identified occupational therapist mentee at the Assistant Professor or postdoctoral level, with both conducting research at U.S. academic institutions.
