Dr. Carolyn Baum Cognitive Function in Daily Life Mentor Award

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation offers the $10,000 Dr. Carolyn Baum Cognitive Function in Daily Life Mentor Award to support experienced occupational therapy researchers in mentoring emerging scientists and advancing functional cognition research. Funds support mentorship, research training, collaborative project development, and related mentee research expenses during the March 1, 2027–February 28, 2028 award period. Applicants must be mid- or senior-level occupational therapy researchers who are at least seven years post-doctorate and hold an associate or full professor position, with an identified occupational therapist mentee at the assistant professor or postdoctoral level. Both mentor and mentee must conduct research at U.S. academic institutions, and applications are due November 7, 2026.
