Dr. Marnie Hinton Award (Resident Physician Health)

About this program

Alberta Medical Association’s Physician and Family Support Program, with a donation from Bennett Jones LLP, offers the Dr. Marnie Hinton Award for Resident Physician Health to recognize resident-led projects or initiatives that advance physician wellness, awarding one $1,000 prize to a University of Alberta resident (spring) and two $500 prizes to University of Calgary residents (fall). University of Alberta postgraduate medical residents may apply by contacting the U of A Office of Advocacy & Wellbeing. University of Calgary residents must be nominated by a Cumming School of Medicine program director or faculty member and be in satisfactory academic standing; nomination letters should be sent to Dr. Jaelene Mannerfeldt at residentwellness@ucalgary.ca.
