EAES Research Grant

About this program

The European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) offers annual research grants totaling €30,000, usually divided among 2–3 awardees to cover bench fees, research administration, dissemination costs and, where necessary, partial salaries. Both established investigators and research‑naive applicants are encouraged to apply and to make use of EAES Research Committee methodology training and support. Award recipients are required to submit their research outcomes for publication in Surgical Endoscopy, the EAES journal. The 2026 call is closed; applications for the 2027 Research Grant will open in September 2026.
