Early Career Faculty Fellow Award

Funded by the TMS Foundation, the Early Career Faculty Fellow Award recognizes an assistant professor whose achievements advance their institution and whose proposed activities can broaden TMS’s technological profile. The award provides complimentary registration and accommodation for two consecutive TMS Annual Meetings, travel support of up to $500 per meeting, presentation and symposium-organizing opportunities, and technical guidance, including registration waivers for up to six symposium presenters. Applicants must be tenure-track assistant professors at educational institutions, within eight years of professional practice after receiving a Ph.D., and have held an assistant professor-equivalent position for two to six years; they must demonstrate institutional advancement, leadership, and potential to engage TMS members. Applications are due April 1 annually and require an application form, letter of interest, three to five testimonials, a presentation abstract, and a CV of no more than five pages.
