Early Career Research Grant Program

About this program

The Strategy Research Foundation (SRF) of the Strategic Management Society is soliciting proposals for its 2026 Early Career Research Grant Program to support early career strategy scholars in advancing original strategic management research. SRF will award multiple grants of up to US$15,000 to fund direct research expenses (e.g., data collection, research assistance) for a two‑year period (Jan 1, 2027–Dec 31, 2028); ineligible costs include institutional overhead, PI/CI compensation, conference travel, equipment, and reimbursement of prior expenses. Applicants must have received their Ph.D. in strategic management or a related discipline within four years of the grant start, be a full‑time research faculty member or postdoctoral researcher affiliated with a university and an SMS member, and adhere to SRF limits on concurrent proposals and prior‑grant deliverables.
