EAS Young Investigator Awards for outstanding publication

About this program

European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) Young Investigator Awards honor outstanding original research publications that advance understanding of atherosclerosis or atherosclerosis with metabolic disturbances; two recipients (one basic science, one clinical) receive €2,000 each and are invited to present at the EAS Congress Opening Ceremony. Eligible papers must be original research articles in English published between January 1 and December 31 of the relevant year. Nominees must be the first author and 40 years or younger on December 31 of the publication year (ID required); nominations are submitted via the official form by an active EAS Individual or Student member (self-nominations permitted) with only one nominee per paper. Nominations are reviewed by the Society’s Award Committee and finalists selected by the Executive Committee; the current call is closed and results will be announced in March 2026.
