Eastern Oregon Border Board Community Improvement Planning Grant

About this program

Oregon Community Foundation’s Eastern Oregon Border Economic Development Board offers Community Improvement Planning Grants to fund planning projects that materially increase education, workforce, and economic development capacity in the Border Region, with priority for proposals that enhance regional prosperity, property tax base, competitiveness with Idaho, workforce skills, regional image, and leverage outside funding. Grants of up to $100,000 support community planning activities such as master plans, transportation, airports, parks, feasibility studies, preliminary engineering, and initial cost estimates, and applicants must be local governments. Applications are accepted via the MyOCF portal during two annual windows (Feb 1–Mar 31 and Aug 1–Sep 30); late submissions will not be considered and written questions must be submitted at least two weeks before a deadline.
