ECTRIMS-MEDEN Fellowship: MOGAD and NMOSD Research

About this program

ECTRIMS and the MOGAD Eugene Devic European Network (MEDEN), with support from The Sumaira Foundation and Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease, offer one-year fellowships for mentored research on neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) and MOGAD. Projects may address MEDEN priority themes or working groups, or be proposed independently, and must be conducted at a MEDEN network institution or another European institution approved by MEDEN. Applicants of any nationality must hold an MD, PhD, ScD, or equivalent and may not have previously worked at the proposed host institution or with the proposed mentor. Applications require candidate, mentor, host-institution, and referee documentation and are due December 1, 2026; the 2027 cycle opens in August 2026.
