Edmund H. Fulling Award — best contributed oral paper for graduate students or junior professionals

Sponsored by the Society for Ethnobotany, the Edmund H. Fulling Award recognizes the best contributed oral paper presented at the Society’s annual meeting by a graduate student or junior professional; the winner receives a certificate and $500 and is invited to submit the paper to Economic Botany for consideration under the journal’s normal peer‑review process. Eligibility requires the presenter be a current graduate student or a junior professional who earned their degree no more than five years prior and to present a contributed oral paper at the annual meeting. Applicants must indicate their eligibility when submitting an abstract; a three‑person ad‑hoc committee at the meeting judges presentations.
