About this program
The Society for Applied Anthropology offers two annual Edward H. and Rosamond B. Spicer Travel Awards of $750 each to help students cover travel expenses for attending the SfAA Annual Meeting. Applicants must have been enrolled as students during part of the current year, registered for the meeting, and submitted an accepted paper abstract; poster presentations are not eligible. The paper should address “community” broadly, and applicants must submit a short essay of up to 500 words describing how meeting participation will advance their professional goals by December 20.
