About this program
The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers the Edward S. “Beanie” Drake Founders’ Award to recognize a mid-career professional who advances campus community, exemplifies institutional and ACUI values, and demonstrates leadership. The award provides full or partial financial support for a professional development activity, with one recipient recognized at ACUI’s annual conference. Eligible applicants must have five to 15 years of professional experience at an ACUI member institution, demonstrate sustained service, innovation, institutional impact, and commitment to ACUI through volunteer involvement. Nominations, due November 20, must include a personal essay of 2,500 words or fewer, two to three letters of support, and details about the proposed professional development activity.
