The Elizabethton/Carter County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the East Tennessee Foundation, supports initiatives enhancing the wellbeing of Carter County residents, focusing on areas like health, education, community development, and environmental enhancement. In 2025, this fund is not administering a competitive grant process. Eligible applicants must have a local presence in Carter County, directly serve its residents, involve Carter County citizens, and limit salary or administrative support to no more than 10% of the funding requested.
