About this program
The Foundation for Contemporary Arts (FCA) offers year-round Emergency Grants of $500–$3,000 to provide immediate, project-based support for visual artists, performing artists, and poets facing urgent opportunities or unexpected expenses. Funding may support sudden opportunities to present work publicly or unbudgeted costs for projects nearing completion with committed exhibition or performance dates, including projects in the United States or abroad. Applicants must live and work in the United States and may apply for projects in any location; grants are intended for time-sensitive needs for which other funding cannot be secured.
