Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award

About this program

The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS), with support from the Thomas O. Enders Endowment, offers the biennial Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award of $15,000 to support a U.S.-based scholar’s research or creative project making a significant contribution to Canadian Studies. Projects may address any discipline, with particular interest in energy policy, economics, cross-border issues, and climate change and the environment, and may include scholarly or creative works and digital resources. Applicants must submit a three-page project description with timeline and budget, a recommendation letter, a recent work sample, and an updated CV in one PDF by December 1, 2026. Funds support direct research costs only, are paid directly to the recipient, and require a final report by December 1, 2028.
