ERA offers Congress Travel Grants (Ordinary and ASQ Programme) to support young authors presenting abstracts at its Congress, providing tiered awards up to EUR 1,000 for top-ranked abstracts and smaller travel contributions. Ordinary Travel Grants are for ERA members aged 40 or younger in the event year, with typical tiers: top abstracts (within the seven best, top one per category) may receive EUR 1,000, the top 100 young-author abstracts EUR 500, and applicants from the host city EUR 100; the number of grants per abstract category is proportional to submissions. The ASQ Programme provides a limited number (minimum 4, maximum 10) of grants for presenting authors younger than 45 from developing countries (GDP < USD 10,000/year), offering free Congress membership plus EUR 300 toward travel, with selection based on survey responses and PSC Chair discretion favoring younger authors, lower‑GDP countries, geographic distribution, and abstract quality. Applicants must select the travel‑grant option during abstract submission, attend and verify presence on-site to receive payment by bank transfer after the Congress, and grants will not be paid retroactively or if ERA already covers travel/hotel; non‑attendance renders winners ineligible for future travel grants.
