ERA Education Meetings – Travel Grants for Young Nephrologists

About this program

The European Renal Association (ERA) offers travel grants for Young Nephrologists to attend ERA Education Meetings, providing complimentary meeting registration plus a distance-based financial travel grant paid by bank transfer after the event. Eligible applicants are ERA members aged 40 or younger in the year of the event, with each member eligible for only one Travel Grant. Applications are submitted via the Meeting page, opened first for two weeks to the host country and neighbouring countries and then to all ERA members if slots remain; allocation is first-come, first-served for the first 25 eligible applicants and subject to ERA Council budget approval. Recipients must attend in person, present photo ID, sign required forms and submit bank details to receive payment; grants are not awarded if ERA has already covered travel/hotel or if recipients fail to attend without prior notice, which also forfeits future eligibility.
