Eric N. Prystowsky Early Career Researcher Award

About this program

Heart Rhythm Society’s Eric N. Prystowsky Early Career Researcher Award recognizes a physician–scientist 1–5 years out of fellowship with the highest scoring abstract in select Clinical Electrophysiology or Catheter Ablation subcategories to promote excellence in clinical research. Applicants must submit an abstract in the specified categories, indicate interest during the regular abstract submission period, and comply with published abstract rules; eligible work must have been substantially completed during the 1–5 years post‑fellowship and involve intact human subjects. The Heart Rhythm Program Chair and Vice Chair select the winner based on abstract scores and subject matter; the award includes complimentary Heart Rhythm meeting registration, a commemorative plaque, $2,500 for travel/housing, and a $2,000 cash prize.
