About this program
The AMA Foundation’s Erin Anderson Award recognizes emerging female marketing scholars and mentors, providing a cash prize, complimentary AMA Winter Academic Conference registration, and a commemorative plaque to honor significant research impact and outstanding mentorship. Eligible nominees are female marketing professors who earned a doctoral degree in marketing or a related field in or after 2015 (as specified for the 2026 cycle), with selection based on publication record/impact and demonstrated excellence in mentoring doctoral students or junior faculty. Nominations are submitted online with a current CV and a personal letter detailing research and mentoring activities; up to four finalists may be invited to provide additional materials and the recipient must be available to accept the award at the AMA Winter Academic Conference.
