Ernest B. Yeager Electrochemistry Award (Mid-America Section)

The Electrochemical Society (ECS) Mid‑America Section offers the biennial Ernest B. Yeager Electrochemistry Award to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to electrochemistry in the Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky region. Presented in even years at the Mid‑America Section meeting, the award includes a certificate and USD $1,000. Eligible nominees must have made their qualifying contributions while working in the U.S. or Canada and be members of the ECS Mid‑America Section (U.S./Canadian citizenship is not required); nominees should demonstrate significant fundamental research or a distinguished career as an educator or researcher. Nominations (self or by others) require a completed electronic nomination form, CV, a brief outline of research and ECS service, and two letters of recommendation; current award committee members may not submit nominations or letters.
