Ernst and Gertrude Ticho Memorial Award and Lecture

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Ernst and Gertrude Ticho Memorial Award and Lecture supports and recognizes promising early-career psychoanalysts whose work advances the field through teaching, writing, research, and applied or clinical practice. The award includes a $3,000 honorarium, up to $550 in travel reimbursement, two hotel nights, and an opportunity to present an original paper at APsA’s National Meeting. Applicants must be early-career graduates of APsA Institutes or approved for graduation by the lecture date, be current APsA members in good standing, and be available to present at the National Meeting. Applications due April 1 must include a personal statement, CV, recommendation letter, and sample of previous work.
