ESCV Travel Grants for Early Career Members (attending meetings)

About this program

The European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) offers travel grants to Early Career researchers to support attendance at ESCV meetings and workshops, covering registration, travel and/or accommodation with a maximum award of €750 for European applicants (reimbursed against receipts); applicants from developing countries may receive individual consideration for higher awards. Eligible applicants are students or trainees who are current ESCV members or have applied for membership and who will give an oral or poster presentation, with priority for those who have not received an ESCV travel grant in the past two years. Complete applications—submitted by email to travelgrant.escv@kenes.com—must include the official application form, a supervisor/head of department letter on institutional letterhead, and the abstract on the official form; applications are reviewed by the Scientific Committee and awarded based on abstract quality and availability of funds (open call 2 May, deadline 26 May, acceptance communicated by 30 May).
