ESE Grants and Awards — annual grants for basic research, clinical research, education and innovation in endodontics

About this program

European Society of Endodontology awards annual grants in four categories (Basic Research, Clinical Research, Education, Innovation) to support endodontic projects, funding up to €30,000 per project (institutional overheads not covered); payments are made to institutions (50% on award, remainder on milestone reporting), submissions due 31 August and winners announced by 31 December. More than one proposal may be funded each year but only one grant is awarded per category; recipients must submit a final report and are requested to submit resulting manuscripts first to the International Endodontic Journal. Eligible applicants are affiliated with a dental school or research institute in an ESE full or associate member country or are individual ESE members with documented scientific background; applications require a research protocol (max 10 pages, A4, double‑spaced, 12‑pt) including background, objectives, methodology and milestones, detailed budget, existing/pending funding, equipment list, ethics approval if applicable, brief CV, high‑resolution headshot and institutional letter of support where relevant.
